Wacyl Azzouz

Wacyl Azzouz studied Sociology, Social and Political Theory and Philosophy in Zürich, Innsbruck, Bucharest and Tübingen. He completed a doctorate in 2021 at the eikones Graduate School under the supervision of Prof. Gunnar Hindrichs and Prof. Christoph Menke (Die Andersheit des Kunstwerks. Zu Theodor W. Adornos Kunstwerkbegriff in der Ästhetischen Theorie). Since 2021 he is a PostDoc researcher at the SNF funded research project “Crisis and Praxis” at the University of Basel. Since 2022 he is Vice President of the Philosophical Society of Basel.
